Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding on 30th December, 1986 in Hereford, England) is a English singer-songwriter. The infectious electronic music of Ellie Goulding swiftly brought her to the top of the charts when she caught the attention of the general public in 2010. She was able to do this with the songs "Starry Eyed" as well as "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her soprano voice and the capacity to create catchy and deeply honest songs place her on the frontline of modern mainstream music, along with an independent and artful pop. In the end, she signed a major-label agreement to Polydor Records and began making arrangements for her debut album.
