Lis Wiehl works as an American writer and legal analyst who was formerly a Fox News analyst.
She's a professor adjunct of law at New York Law School, as well as an adjunct professor at the University of Washington Law School. Legal commentaries have been provided to National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File alongside Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs Tonight The Imus morning show, and hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and she graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She is a graduate of an undergraduate degree in Arts at Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) along with an JD from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She worked as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She was deputy chief investigating counsel for Democrats of the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. Her time at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 to 2001. She managed the school's Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl has been a Fox News analyst since 2001.
