Sofia Pernas grew in Orange County, California. Sofia Pernas is from Morocco Moroccan origin - was moved to California when she was a kid at the age of five. In 2015, she graduated from University of California San Diego and received her first big break acting. Pernas, who had made brief appearances on NCIS as well as Leverage before landing the part as Marisa on The Young and the Restless she was a well-known face on the soap opera. Between 2019 and 2020 Pernas played Lexi Vaziri as part of Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly reported in May 2020, that Pernas was dating Justin Hartley from The Young and the Restless. The couple began dating after Hartley's This Is Us star split from her spouse Chrishell Stause November of this year. Pernas Hartley got married in secret with Pernas in the month of May 2021.
