Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast born on the 14th of March 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. She is considered to be one of the most outstanding gymnasts. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s only female gymnast to earn 4 gold medals. She also won the world championship for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles, along with her twins Adria Biles and Ronald Biles were adopted as young children by grandparents from Houston. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics when she was an infant on a field trip to school at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach throughout the next eleven years. Biles earned a silver in vault in 2010 and also a bronze medal at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Biles then advanced to the level of elite competition in the year 2011. In less than two years, she had become the best in her sport. Her consistency, her vivacious nature and high degree of difficulty in her four events -vault uneven bars, balance beam floor exercise and floor exercise -- made her apart.
